Bangkok, Thailand – enough said. I scoured through a guide book to find what was described as a pure ‘gem’. A budget hotel that feels like a 5 star with stellar service, breakfast, and an elevator (great).

After several hours (ok, like 20 minutes) of being lost, I arrived at THE ATLANTA to only spend another twenty minutes analyzing the signage.

First and most obvious sign struck me, “No Sex Tourists Welcome”. Yes, of course. That’s obvious, right. Um, wait. What?

Then, the second and more difficult to read sign, “This is the place you are looking for – if you know it. If you don’t, you’ll never find it.”

I turned around. I decided I was too dumb to stay at The Atlanta.

P.S. 3 days in Bangkok made the no sex tourists message very clear…
